Now on to the Opening I the odds, after two spots this is the only restaurant that opens on a Monday, we are sure you would have been going like “So local man has no food plan on a Monday”. Maison kayser, with a catchy name Maison, is here to quench your Monday’s delight while others are resting.
Maison kayser is an artisan “Boulanger” Boulangerie is French for a bakery. Maison isn’t only limited to being a bakery but it also has a dining section. Yes I know what you are thinking “A romantic getaway”, French is without a doubt the most romantic language out there, this in itself speaks volumes for this beautiful spot; a nice ambiance and a 10/10 customer relationship service when it comes to feedback and reaction amongst other things. The honest truth is one thing we lack in Nigeria that keeps me burning is customer care relationship, most restaurants or customer to potential buyers establishments fails largely when it comes to this, I personally have had numerous experience when it comes to bad CRM and I am sure you have too, so when we see an establishment or restaurant thriving in this we should indeed applaud them and patronize.

Closed on a Monday again we have “The House” this is one of my favorite places in this list, mostly because it has this cozy interior feel to it, her decors make’s you forget you are in a public area and replaces that with a home feel, probably that is why at dusk this is my one-stop venue “indoor curtains covered, a sight of a beautiful bar, soft gentle music playing in the background, tables to suit different occasion and number of people, a good flavor menu, and a cozy dark feel” now that was my personal preference, if you are an outdoor person who loves that grills and chill vibes there outdoor look isn’t that bad, they make the most of of the space they got.

A social and business house for professionals, Let’s start off with that. The Metaphor is designed to be a community, where individuals can come to relax, meet new people and establish new bonds. A restaurant and bar are open for customers to have a full experience. Overall it has this 80’s vibe to it putting you in a time capsule, appreciating the beauty of the old days, this isn’t necessarily a madhouse but it has loads of engaging cool activities that are good for your nerves; I call it the Eutopia of classic. With a jazz man playing and a garage library full of legal books this is a place for intellectual minds and foodies

The real Lagos fusion vibe even Big Brother Nigeria had to borrow a concept. As the name implies this eccentric spot has the looks and color themes of a Lagos commercial bus called Danfo, If you are a Lagosian to the core you will know how legendary these busses are and that will give you an assuring vibe over the place. With a rich yet affordable menu Danfo Bistro has won over the hearts of many Lagosians, it is both camera and family-friendly, If you haven’t been here please this is a place you want to have on your visited list.
