An outstanding validation of Tracee’s shopping habit as we explore her super power looks that keep the fashion globe spinning in style.

The energetic and trailblazing 48-year-old American actress, singer, television host and producer, Tracee Joy Silberstein, known professionally as Tracie Ellis stunned in a fabulous white Alexander McQueen ensemble with thigh-high leather boots and Ana Khouri jewelry as she accepted the F ashion Icon Award at the 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards.

“Tracee, do you take fashion to be your lawfully wedded wife? I do,” she teased at the start of her acceptance speech. “Thank you for validating my shopping habit.”

The fashion icon paid respect to her super star mom, Diana Ross for an awesome fashion playground disguised as a closet.

“Obviously, I have to thank the icon herself, my mom. Not only for her great parenting and not acquiescing to my many whimsical and outrageous requests and tantrums … but also her style, her epic closet and glamour that introduced me to the power of fashion,” Tracee stated.

The impeccable black star remembered her bead finding escapades whenever Diana performed on stage. She would always scan the stage after Diana’s performance to gather beads that fell off her dresses, “so that I could have pieces of the magic, seeds of the fashion dream that I was cultivating for myself.” She said.

Fashion has most definitely been a way for the black sensation to express her creativity, feelings, political and even cultural viewpoints. The black-ish star has found tremendous ways to astonish the fashion and beauty scene over the past decade flawlessly and impeccably in colour, style, flair, fun, straight up ferociousness and class.

Tracy has revealed that vintage clothing has played a vital role in her styling journey. Tracee Ellis Ross has modelled for some of the outstanding names in the fashion scene before pulling it off as an actress on “Girlfriends” in 2000.

With her haute couture and splendid red carpet style, she represents black designers like Christopher John Rogers, Pyer Moss, Dapper Dan and more talented black designers with confidence and panache.

“Use fashion as an entrance. Let your clothes be your superhero cape, allowing you to the best you can be,” she admonished viewers. “It doesn’t matter if you wear black tie or a Black Lives Matter T-shirt, but suit up and show up, because our action creates our destiny, our joy creates space for our freedom.”
